Meet Our Board Members

Kurt Schweiger

Kurt Schweiger is a native of Western Pennsylvania, and returned home in 2003 to raise his family after stints in New York, Boston and Los Angeles. Kurt met his wife Kelly in Los Angeles and now resides in Pine Township with their two children Brett and Caden. Kurt’s faith was significantly influenced by the passing of Joshua, and the power and strength in Christ he saw that so many people had. This realization that the strength that got them through such a sad and challenging time ignited a fire inside of him. Kurt wanted that strength and has pursued it feverishly ever since. He now knows that this world is broken, as is he; but Christ has paid his debt, and because of this, all Christians will have eternal life.Kurt is currently a Managing Principal for OneDigital, a national team of employee benefits advisors. Prior to joining OneDigital, Kurt was the founder of TEC Benefits. Prior to that he was a senior benefits consultant at Unum. Kurt also currently owns and manages TEC Construction, dba, TEC Homes; a commercial and residential contractor.Beyond being a board member of the Joshua Foundation, Kurt is a supporter of the Light of Life, Pittsburgh Kids Foundation and many other Christian charities. Kurt and Kelly also run the Schweiger Family Charitable Trust and Kurt is on a board sub-committee for his church, Orchard Hill Church.Kurt attended the University of Rochester where he received a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and 3 Business Certificates.
